Paul and Chris George Kayak Chronicles

Today Chris and I set sail out of Tiger Park (AKA our back yard) at around 11am in the 16 ft Kayak. We went up the Pratt Branch River to Spring Creek and then to the Murderkill River. At Bowers Beach we shot through the inlet and out into the Delaware Bay. We then spent some time out on a sandbar island about 2 acres big. We had an awesome little voyage. We had John, my neighbor pick us up at Bowers Beach where we had crab cakes at the dock restaurant. We planned the trip so that we could ride along with the outgoing tide, so we barely had to paddle only steer through the current and coast. It took between 2.5 and 3 hours to get there. Enjoy.
