  • It IS possible to make brilliant movies without any special effects...

Best CGI cannot replace an intelligent story and wonderful actors.

  • Let us not overlook the brilliant music played by

trained musicians reading scores without the crutches of drum machines, FX loops, Pro Tools or any other electronic devices. Hail to the music and musicians of yore!

  • Watched this movie last night for the first time. I couldn't stop laughing

  • I watched this when i was young...about 9-10...and merely laughed at his behavior...but now I'm 19....and I Finally GET the jokes!!!

  • Danny's costume is preposterously beautiful.

  • Danny was the best, and The Court Jester, My absolute all time favorite. The movies and actors in them and the writers and just everyone and everything it took to make them back in thoes days have a classic quality and brilliance and ''realness'' about them that you just don't get in todays screen pictures or TV.Todays way of visual entertainment reminds me of todays toys and really darn near everything, compared with the same things made back then, today= cheap, plstic. Then=Qualty,Lasting

  • @Gl0v3r3NyGmA That is the brilliance of the man right there. There is hardly one legitimate spanish word in that whole phrase (maybe 'pronto'), but he made it sound so authentic. He does it at another point in the movie when he appeared to be switching languages to convince the king that he was indeed Giacomo.

  • What is he saying in spanish???

  • @Gowerrr It's on iTunes. I downloaded it a few weeks ago, and I listen to it every day. There's much more to each song than what's in the movie!

  • @aishaclanclan7 I agree danny Kaye has more talent in his little finger than any actor today.

  • Ahh the lost art of classic comedy. No rudeness, crudity, insults or offense. Just funny.

But nowadays someone would complain about putting down undertakers and Flamenco dancers.
