I've been inactive on youtube for some time concentrating on battling cancer. But a massive earthquake has brought my town to its knees.

Even in the midst of this there is a real sense of the surreal. And the human spirit keeps breaking through with love and hope as it so dependably does in all life's tests, even if temporarily eclipsed from time to time - our "better angels" - an evolved characteristic which
I think is the source of what we call 'divinity'.

  • Warm greetings Hunter, I am very sorry to hear that. I hope to be making vids again very soon, but continuing earthquakes, and another series of Cancer treatment have kept me from Youtube for a very long time. Now dawn approaches.....Love and blessings, Graham.

  • Grahm, it's great to be on your channel again. I lost 2 family members and am trying to make contact again. Great video. Love, Hunter

  • how are things now 3 months latter? I hope all is well. I truly miss looking forward to your videos.

  • Sending you good wishes and love. Your laughter is beautiful. Trusting all is well.

  • Dear Graham i am so glad to see you...so glad your family is ok. Give everyone a big hello from the net, ok? Just so kind of you to let us know you are ok!

  • I have to echo the other comments and say that I'm glad that you're OK...

Of course, it was a lot more tragic for other people in Christchurch, and as you said, it can make you feel guilty when thinking about that...

It's easy to say something clichéd about that like the proverbial 'life isn't fair," but I think the wisdom and humor and in your comment about the 'better angels of our nature' might make more sense.

  • Well, another one of life's tests, in your case. :) It's nice to hear you laugh.

    It's tragic that people died.

  • What a mess. I'm glad you're alright. I really like how you've put this together. Not sensationalist, just human and real.

  • The Divine within indeed, a more perfect Union.......Lincoln (First Inaugural Adress).......We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.

  • Thank you Graham for letting us know how you are taking all this and letting your spirits up to keep going.

May each moment nourish you with the flow of Life.

    Blessings

    Tara
