Fernando Aguirre is the only one I know personally that has witnessed and survived an Economic Collapse. Fernando explains the roles that Silver and Gold played during the 2001 Economic Collapse in Argentina. The sound quality is not the best because we did the interview on such short notice, so turn up the volume because this is something I think everyone should hear.

  • People are trying to predict what things will be like when the economy collapses by looking at countries that have gone through it, but this will be a global collapse, so everyones take on it has some validity since it's anyones guess.

  • @ricadrew Thanks for the comment

  • Can't eat paper money, either. Great interview! =^[.]^=

  • @Raycheetah Thanks Ray... and you couldn't have said more clearly. haha

  • The background noise was horrendous. I managed to just hear him above the din. Apart from that I was glad to hear what he had to say.

  • @penguinistas Sure am sorry abou the noise, but I'm just glad we had the camera with us to get it on tape. I'll be sure to remember the microphone next time. Thanks for watching.

  • A major difference between Argentina in 2001 and the US today is that the US has the world's reserve currency. Argentina did not have that luxury. If the US economy collapses, it will be a very different situation. When Argentina's economy collapsed, most people didn't notice.

  • Ahh, the beauty of group-think.

  • Great video, but next time you make a video when your interviewing someone,go somewhere quiet, because i could hardly hear him and you talk !!

  • Watch camp f.e.m.a 2 probably the scariest thing I have ever seen.

  • Can I suggest maybe putting in captions? It's a little hard to hear Fernando due to the background noise and no mic. But excellent overall!

  • Great video. I have the cuban petro crisis/collapse as my main video on my homepage because I know what is important during a collapse such as the Cuba which was far worst than argentinas.
