Michigan vs. Chicago November 12, 1904. This was the final game of the season and took place at Regents Field in Ann Arbor. Michigan won 22-12 to become Western Conference champions and was awarded a shared national championship with the Univ. of Pennsylvania. This film is incorrectly titled as taking place 1903 - the 1903 was in Chicago at a larger stadium. This was filmed by B.G. Smith of Thomas Edison's American Kinetograph Company. Mr. Edison was not at the game.

  • Where's the ball? :P

  • its north american rugby

  • @paladin313 I think what he is trying to say is that the players today are much bigger and stronger making the game more violent but really today refs would be calling twice as many penalties because the game was so much more tougher.
