  • Some comments I see says that we should unite under the name of Christ and christens, what we should do is leave all the different religion view aside and unite under the name of ASSYRIA, religion views is what is sperating us like ACOE, Chaldean catholic church, Syriac orthodox church and others, we should all separate religion from nationality, our religion could be Chaldean catholic, Syriac orthodox, or Muslim, Hindu or Buddhist but we are still ASSYRIANS from ASSYRIA as a nationality.

  • Zubari Kurds as Descendants of Subareans

The descendants of the historic Subareans are stated by Prof. Izady to be found amongst the Zubari Kurds, who still inhabit the same geographical region as the ancient Subareans:

"The kingdom of Mushku is now believed to have brought about the final downfall of the Hittites in Anatolia. Their name survives in the city of Mush/Mus in north-central Kurdistan of Turkey. The Subaru who operated from the areas north of modern Arbil in central Kurdistan

  • Gutian dynasty persisted until the end of the 17th century BC As a matter of fact, the wholly negative opinion that even some modern historians have of the Gutians is based solely on a few stereotyped statements by the Sumerians &Akkadians, especially on theinscription of Utu-hegal of Uruk(c 2116-c2110).While Old Babylonian sources give the region between the Tigris&the Zagros Mountains as the home of the Gutians, these people probably also lived on the middle Euphrates during the 3rd millennuim

  • @Suryoyoguy Not Assyrian, most Iraqis are Babylonian descents.

  • @AssyrianMuslim But do the converted assyrians call them self assyrians?, because i have never heard of this.

  • @Suryoyoguy only a small number of Arabs actually came to Iraq. The majority of of Muslims in Mesopotamia are descendants of converts who chose Islam starting in the 7th century. No offense intended and non taken. Pshayno
