@mikeethio I disagree. Prohibition has taken the lives of far too many innocent and uninvolved people for it not to be a big deal. We are giving tens of billions to drug cartels instead of boosting our struggling economy. People are losing their children, homes, jobs, healthcare, and dignity for using a plant far safer than alcohol or even McDonald's. Thus, I push for every advantage possible to advance the cannabis re-legalization momentum.

In my opinion, medical cannabis is a better term than medical marijuana. Unlike the word cannabis, which refers to a genus of plants, marijuana is a slang term; you may as well say medical maui wowi. (Though to me, the latter would actually be a more appropriate term as marijuana was a propaganda word during the prohibition movement and had racist connotations.) It is shocking to me that you'll even find the term medical marijuana in scientific literature.
