While on vacation in Maine my friends and I came across a pug locked inside of a car on a 90° day. An act that is illegal in Maine as well as in many other states. (See full list of states here: http://www.animallaw.info/articles/qvuspetsincars.htm)

Read here about what to do if you find an animal locked inside of a car in the heat. http://www.aspca.org/News/Tri-State/Tri-State-News-Detail.aspx?NDate=20110728...
Many people don't know that an animal can die in as short a time as fifteen minutes if left to bake in the car.

  • Good job! Stupid owners!

  • Thanks for sharing this! I thought this was really helpful. This is really important cuz it tells/shows people how important it is NOT to keep a pug locked up in a car on a hot blazing day like that. Pugs do better in the cold but in the heat, they're absolutely helpless. Great job guys!

  • Good for you guys. I have a pug and if I left her in the car, in that heat, I'd have a spare key in my pocket & leave the car locked & running with the a/c on. That guy must of been a real jerk. I would have busted his window and taken the pug away from that ahole -- well, maybe not. Great job guys!!!

  • Good job, guys! Awesome!!!
