Yep, I use it for both my electric and acoustic guitar. Awesome for standard tuning;however, Guitar Tool Kit is much more advanced and offers different tuning selections like drop D.

This app has advanced since this video. It's the best free tuner you can get on the appstore at them moment.

i think this can do much better if it had the function of various tuning or, if possible - even create your own tunings by changing the tune of each string.
