The music sounds like its from a Mother Game. Those crabs look like theyre from Super Mario, and Why the hell are there blue monkeys and random Electrodes? none of the enemy pokemon have anything to do with one another. ._.

It's not that they have spare time as much as they want to con some unsuspecting kid or parent into buying it for 70 dollars just to make a quick buck. You could probably find a cartridge with the game on E-Bay or at a flea market, but I wouldn't advise wasting money on a bootleg. You can probably find a rom of it with a quick google search, though.

This is amazing -- there's something about bootlegs that's fascinating, as they reveal all the conventions that make legit games feel "polished" or even just "playable". I salute your efforts to document this mess.

Yeah, I don't know what it is, but something draws me to playing bootleg games just out of morbid curiosity, i suppose. Although, out of all the bootlegs I've played, this is probably the most playable, albeit still crap. It could actually pass as a crappy but playable game if the hit detection wasn't so messed up.
