Taí uma ópera que acho chata..... a ópera!!!! A MÚSICA É BOA DEMAIS..... Mas o enredo é sem graça, comparado a outras... De Strauss, a melhor é Elektra!!!!!

The acting and moving were disappointingly ecstatic during the aria, but the end (with the contess and the artists in the boxes and the 'backstage' of the end of the opera) was an AWESOME idea for setting the opera to tv exhibition.

I've never been to much of an opera fan, but as I'm reading Edward Said's "On late style", I wanted to find out what was he talking about in the Strauss chapter. Wow, this is beautiful!

Having seen Fleming perform this scene last night at the Met's Opening Night for its 125th Season, I believe this is Fleming at her best...all I can say is WOW! Fleming's voice soared last night singing this, and I know that many agree, as Itunes has Capriccio's last scene with Fleming as a huge hit!!! God bless, Renee Fleming!!!
