  • He is such a pleasure to listen to...such insight, intelligence, warmth and dedication to his craft. Wonderful....

  • 5:15 I was thinking the same thing! All this to do about online stuff, with little screens and videos and I thought "This has got to be similar to how people felt decades ago, and reminds me of the tiny TV I once had in my room.

  • @perfectionbox He was a sort-of bad guy in the Avaiator.

  • Alda had such wonderful range on MASH... good natured most of the time, but sometimes he had to be dead serious or very angry at someone, and he nailed that too. And he didn't have to say anything either, like the time he glared at Winchester for not going along with the placebo scheme. I never saw him play the bad guy in a movie -- not sure if he ever did -- but if he did I'm sure it would be as good as anything he's done.

  • imm sick this week and i have plans to watch all of mash

  • @Dahgrostabphri

I just watched 'lost' on hulu, watched the entire show in less than a week!

    i loved it

    as i did mash.

    im just sayin'............

  • HOly shit he is so right about the acting thing....I'd say Larry Sanders Show is an excellent modern example of true acting made funny.

  • Thats a really good analogy when he talks about the similarity between TV and the internet.

  • @MrFredgar I know what u mean

  • Ironic that he didn't want to be a doctor and that was his role in his most infamous role.
