well i have one of these and it has served me really well....I use Pinical or Sony vegas both offer a better edting and convertion format for the JVC...its best to know how to use this as it has lots to offer if you explore I would recommend a bigger battery which will give u about 2hours runtime...and a 160 LED flash light that you can buy from ebay will last you about 2hours aswell with rechargeble batterys 2300mh :) also try adjusting the frame rate if u need more light

I got one of these last year and had no probs with it aside from I had to buy a bigger battery and the software that came with it was shite (Cyberlink BD Solution). Hate the fact that there are no decent file converters for it's own file types .MTS and .TOD Support from JVC is well below average. Nice review otherwise you yam yam and good to see clean fingernails :)

@leepatrick01 The supplied software is rather bad and I always have to convert the videos into .ASF HD format so that I can edit them with Adobe Premiere. Why manufacturers can't produce something that has more multi-format video is beyond me.
OMG did you call me a yam yam? All these years I've tried to hide it and now it's prominent :D
