  • hi i'm also starting too on this and how do you keep them on the path ansd not running off everywhere?

  • @Shoua68Mommy Unfortunately, these are not my dogs. They were a neighbor friend's dogs, and he has since sold them and moved away. But I'm pretty sure that these dogs were bred for this. Whenever a new dog is introduced to the group, he learns from following their lead. Hope this helps.

  • @Shoua68Mommy The owner of these dogs says: "If you don't already have a trained leader, then you start with only 1 dog. jogging on windy woods trails with lots of turns. Have the 1 dog in a harness (not on collar) but use a leash. Give commands at every turn, every time you stop or go give a command. Every time the dog gets distracted, scold him (On BY! I yell). Then when you can trust this leader (after a couple seasons) you can use him to train other dogs as I have done in this video."

  • @RightSquareFlyin thank you for the advice and don't worry i only have one and also just thinking about having two might be a bit of a challenge for me. lol but later in the future i plan to get him a wifey so he won't have to be lonely for being the only dog. lol but thank you for the advice. =D
