I did until my brother told me he wasn't when I was still 6 xP ruined my Christmas because I knew my parents bought all the gifts, but it didn't help because my parents kept saying "ooh if you don't go to bed now santa wont come" until I turned 16 and I'm 18 currently so... xP

I was at school and me and my friends were talking about Christmas. Rian says "Santa is soooooooo fake, isn't he?" I was just like ".................... uuh y-yeah soooo fake! " I felt like that annoying piece of tape that you find on you sock that you crushed a million times.

Living in Asia, I never really believed in Santa Claus - no chimney, see - but technically he is real, just not alive anymore. He's (supposed to be) saint Nicholas (I think), a bro who handed out gifts to poor children, basically. My mum told me this as a kid, so no surprise for me there!

I think I was about four when I asked my mom if I could leave cookies for Santa, and she was like, "Honey, it's fun to pretend, but Santa Clause isn't real. Okay?" And I was just like *Shrug* "So I can eat the cookies?"

My parents have this thing about lying to their children. They say it's generally a bad idea. I agree.

Being Jewish I never really had a huge disappointing moment when I found out Santa wasn't real. In fact I was scared of the man in the big red suit. At my Ihop around Christmas a man dressed as Santa would give candy to all the tables. Knowing I was sacred my parents told me don't worry its only a man in a costume. So when the guy got to our table I told him I know ur just a silly man in a costume. He said shhhh don't tell anyone. I felt like the coolest 6yo ever knowing the big secret

I don't even know f I really believed in Santa when I was a kid. I surely don't now but I do not remember a point in my life where I realized he is not real. So I don't think I have ever believed in him but also never made a clear statement of that to myself.
