Also, I just want to add that I'm a professional archaeologist with a degree in geology but as a human being I can tell you that the "knowledge filter" is a very REAL thing. I see it almost every day and even contribute to it from time to time. It is mostly human nature but I wonder if it's cultural too. When I hear about some things Russian scientists have done... they seem more open minded to me. We try to cram everything into our accepted theory or just ignore it- that's not real science.

I think Darwins theory of evolution has to be correct, has to evolve inside the mother he can't just say there has to be a missing link if the mothers egg does all the shape shifting inside that egg for the new born to then apear different because the enviroment he/she is in apears different but safer for him/her but dangerous for the mother and father (can't see the proof through fossils but only relate).

They have discovered that some fish can fly that should be enough proof.

Wait. Im open minded as far as all this stuff goes. But the whole thing about "one side gets to heavy from the ice build up so it just pulls the crust around" doesnt make much sense to me. For that to work it would mean there is more gravity in space at the Northern & Southern ends of this planet. Im familiar with La Grange points and all that but this just doesnt seem like a logical explanation. Sure it makes sense that the poles shift but not because the ice gets to heavy. Correct me if wrong.

It was recently revealed that solar activity cant affect the decay rate of the type of carbon used in carbon dating (carbon 14 if I'm correct) now, with solar activity speeding up and dropping off every 11 years or so since the earth was formed. Plus the fact that Earth sits in a gravity well displacing time (gravitiational time dilation) it's possible that our info on the "timeline" of humanity and likely life on earth is off base by more than a few millenia ( no disrespect intended to Doc Z )
