Though I don't agree with the ISO on everything, they're far from petty bourgeois reformists.

BTW, China is hardly a worker's paradise and they we're in the wrong when they took over Tibet.

@boomac62 Tibet is an autonomous region. Ive been to both, and honestly i can say that the freetibet movement in the US is not legitimately informed about the situation there. The Dali Lama doesnt want independence, and neither do most of the Tibetan people. Plus their 'freedom' is to be a serf/feudalist society -->their cultural/religious system. I feel like the FTM is aimed at criticizing Beijing, rather than Tibetan liberation. And btw China under Deng Xiaoping hurt the factories and workers.

Do yourself a favor my firend, visit China. Talk to the peop[le. Visist the factories. Life is a journey and my journey has shown me I was wrong to support China...BUT I had to find out for myself. China must change and Tibet MUST be free. Peace to you on your journey.
