@goodlad22 the other gobshites have far better literacy than you obviously have. i'm not a liverpool fan but i can smell shite. gillett and hicks thought they were onto a no brainer easy profit when they took over. they borrowed the money they didn't have to buy a club in a sport they didn't know, thinking they would sell them on in a few years for MASSIVE profit. benitez never borrowed any money from rbs. man u and liverpool are still in the hands of fat rich yank businessmen..

@goodlad22 lets talk about facts then will we the aquilani deal was a sham it was probably the best deal benitez could get because liverpool could only pay the 20million over four years even though we had just recieved 30 million for alonso, clubs wouldn't sell there best players unless it was instant cash. plus we never got to see aquilani play fully fit, and they also resold robbie keane before he had a chance to settle in because they couldn't repay the agreed fee. so you seriously think Houlliers team was better than Rafas?!! Rafa is a genius when it comes to tactics in Europe and thats a big reason we won.
