I like the 1980 version more. It was on PBS and stuck closer to the book. It is available on YouTube in 12 parts.

Loved the original film. The A&E remake was blah..... George Orr was a spineless wuss in both versions. I guess that he was Yin to Dr. Haber's Yang in the original story. very nice Indie version !
