  • i have 1 year old labrador, he will not able to as calm as that. The only way to calm him is to lay him on the floor and hold his neck so he will unable to move. my question is, is it ok to put solution into his ear while the dog is laying down? his ears smell very bad right now. thanks.

  • @ngkong copper is pretty mellow about his ears being cleaned! It should not be a problem if you dog is laying on his side. The solution actually has a better chance of getting where it needs to go.

  • @ErickaAlicia29 Thanks! :)

  • @Zorendorf Most of the time the dog will shake any remaining cleaner out of their ears but you should make an attempt to wipe out the excess with a cotton ball. Ear cleaner is the best. It is specially made to break up wax and debris in the ear as well as dry the ear when you are done. Hope this helps.

  • So, do you need to get out all of the cleaner when you finish? And also, does it have to be cleaner, or can it just be water?
