This looks like the Himalayan Ski Village.....one needs to tread carefully. Probably a good EIA is needed which must be available to the public. Like any other big projects the local panchayats and people surrounding the project must be made stakeholders.

We have seen a lot of these projects in Himachal promising a better tomorrow for local communities....however once they are made, permissions sorted and the condo's sold to rich people( without Section 118 ) everything is back as it is.

I am really impressed by the idea and would love to escape to nature at such a place... It would be a great attraction for foreign tourists as well and perhaps become a reason to visit the country. But I am concerned about its connectivity to big cities. The nearest economic hub is NCR and serenity valley would be connected via road to it. After spending a week in nature's lap it would be really discomforting to reach my place again fighting with pollution on the road.

The video has an authentic feel, it is really exciting to see that in India the concept of sustainable living is being experimented.

This would be cool thing to merge native style with the contemporary style of living. Best of both worlds!
