Gig Log Aug.20.2011 - Weston Golf & CC

This terrific wedding takes place at Weston Golf and C.C. on Sat.Aug.20 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Charles and Michelle are celebrating this glorious day with 150 of their best friends and family and I was happy to be a part of it.
Tonight, the Bride and Groom asked a family friend to be their MC allowing me to concentrate more on the DJing duties.
This video starts with my new Centrepiece Game right off the bat and gets people up right after the entree, before the dessert has been served.

@mike71flores Yeah Mike, it usually works here to but they had just opened up the late night buffet in an adjacent room, so the dance floor was a little sparce.

@visionaeagle Hey Ron, hey Eagle, Serato runs flawlessly with the HD2500 controller.

It's a great mobile system.

The only think I miss is that real vinyl feel, so I'm buying some CDJs soon or maybe the Denon DN-S3700s, not sure yet.

Awsome gig nice crowd. Oh and yes there is almost always a person requesting and then leaving. Here is something I like to do anounce the person who requested it ..this helps them to the dance floor.

@djbigron does the 2500 run better with serato? I use the virtual dj but looking at getting the serato later..

@tiaqa I agree! I was running Light Jockey as you can tell, that made those babies do anything I wanted.
