  • Was in Melbourne the whole of last week, the weather was pretty pissy! Must be annoying not being able to do anything in it

  • @LPFthings yeh, freezing cold and getting dark as soon as I get home from work :(

  • LOL, I Have to work out in the cold, So i just get used to it, but can't beat sitting in front of a woodfired oven :), You mean Electrosux Timewaster :P

  • Reminds me of the WW2 era lathe I used in college

  • What a great old lathe

  • @BigMaxTube I've already machined it without video but I want to wait til I get a complete engine and show how to do it from start to finish.

I used the 3 jaw chuck too, since I do not have a 4 jaw.

  • @gbowne1 I'm not a big fan of red machines but Royal Blue or Brunswick Green are a good choice.

it will probably be green since it was the color of that era, that and grey/black.

it was made in 1938 so I don't think blue would have been a big thing back then.
