9.30pm mid escape. Youve cut through the first fence using a small pair of
wire cutters. Youve now arrived at the second fence. A guard tower is less than
50 metres away. The plan is to climb over as fast as possible to minimise the
chance of being seen and/or shot. Suddenly your accomplice tells you
he doesnt want to climb over, he fears he will be injured by the razor wire. He
wants Hope to cut through the fence instead. Hope cant believe what hes
hearing. This is NOT the plan. Cutting will take too long. He tries to persuade his
accomplice to see sense. But when Hope realises time is running out he ends
the argument by throwing the wire cutters over the fence. Now theres no choice.
