This is Jimmy Eat Worlds cover of the song "Firestarter" by the Prodigy. I have to warn you, it's a LOT DIFFERENT! :D, but I like it better.
Not sure what label it was released on, and i'll be sure to update it when I find out, so the song is copyrighted to the label it was released on, and to the band Jimmy Eat World. I did not make the song.

I like the original, but based on what I've seen on this video it has to be said- a lot of Prodigy fans are cunts.
Also, I like how this cover gives a massively different lyrical meaning. The original was like "Yeah, I'll burn your face and kick your shins, grrr, look how different I am to you". But this is more about metaphorical fires, love it.

what's with all the hate. yes, it's quite different from the original but i think that was meant to be the point. it's refreshing hearing a different version of it. i like it. the original is great as well

I think it's interesting to see how a song is done and interpreted one way, and then someone comes along and uses the exact same lyrics and does it a different way. It gives the song a completely different meaning and evokes different emotions. While the original was energetic and in-your-face, this one is slower and sounds kind of regretful. I like them both, but I like this one better. Just my opinion. :)
