Super fast magnetic motor. This is a Newman Motor, but better. It's simplicity is what makes this motor so cool. It's made with 1 coil of copper wire wound in two parts, (top and bottom coils) one end grounded to the shaft, and the other to the negative of the 9V battery. The positive is connected to the other end of the shaft completing the circuit. The speed is phenomenal and I've not seen another Newman motor with this speed. If you know of one please send the vid!. Also you'll notice two sets of neo-mags. This is the reason for the phenomenal speed achieved. Though there's nothing really special about the design. Moving the magnets out closer to the coils simply produces more force on both end of the shaft, making the motor spin at a much higher RPM than a single core design which is further from the magnetic fields produced by the copper coils. If you have a similar design that spins faster I'd like to see it. Subscribe for updates on this motor!

  • Why didn't you say anything during the making of this video? And why didn't you show us the coils?

For all we know you've got a magnetically coupled flywheel under the table. Lack of transparency and documentation makes this video very suspect in my book.

How about a part 2, where you show us the construction of the coils and you walk us through the operation?

  • @DrGoodwrench64 I can't help your paranoia guy. Your problem. If you think it's a fake, I don't need to convince you.

  • @DrGoodwrench64 Of course I'm open to scrutiny and skeptism. However, you implied I was hiding something and now you imply I'm deflecting the topic further. That's not skepticism, that's accusation. BIG difference.

I've already explained how I made the motor. Which you apparently have not bothered to read. If you didn't read it at all you're implications are moot. If you did read it, and don't like the explanation or you don't believe it, that's your prerogative. Either way it's your problem.

  • @supersportz

Actually, I implied that you COULD be hiding something. Not that you were or weren't. That's not accusation, it's Speculation.

Also, I read your less than clear description, hence the request for a little more detail in a part2 video.

Obviously you missed the point of my OP. It was meant as a challenge to you. To show us in a little better detail what you did and how you did it. It's not like your idea was original anyway.

But that's OK, not everyone is up to a challenge.

  • @DrGoodwrench64 If it were meant simply as a challenge, why imply possible deviousness? I'm not claiming anything, not purporting it to be anything special, and I'm certainly not hiding anything. So the rationality of your apparent challenge doesn't seem to make sense because if you simply had questions or a challenge, you could have asked without implying anything devious. There wasn't a need for that implication at all. Unless of course you're a troll. Then that would explain it perfectly.

  • It's a Homopolar motor really.

  • @sorova It's neither a homopolar nor a Newman motor. kind of a hybrid.

  • 400 years ago they believed it was impossible that the world was round, it MUST be flat! 100 years ago they believed man was TOO HEAVY to put to flight; IT WOULD VIOLATE THE LAWS OF PHYSICS.. So here we are today, what do you believe? 1+1=3? It's possible because we forget (x) as in 1+1(+X)=? due to unknown variables we haven't discovered. Time is one of the 10 properties (length, weight, height, etc), and as such we should be able to manipulate it, so there's no need to move faster than light.
