Los Alamos National Laboratory in late December, 2010 completed demolition on the 24th and final building to be taken down using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding. The 34,000 square foot building once housed labs and offices for research into nuclear fusion and a project aimed at using nuclear power to propel rockets in space.
Kudos to all the workers who participated in this safe demolition of TA-21. It is a little sad to see it all go away as this area has so much history behind it, however, it is all being accomplished for the better.
