@poodin2011 Yet another example is the tobacco industry. At ENRON, they banned cigarettes long before it became the trend. Why? And now listened closely since I was in the senior exec meeting where this decision was made. They made that decision for MONEY. They were self insured and they had to set aside less money for claims due to fire and less money for health insurance. You idiots are so superficial.

Perhaps you would rather take the private enterprise solution that YOU buy health insurance for ALL of your customers in case they have any skin condition? How many BILLIONS in uninsured healthcare, deaths and lost production are caused by YOUR production. It is only fair that YOU pay for it. NOT socialists at all but free markets. The public chooses.

@exenrontexas I don't know who you are, but I own 2 small businesses, one is a gym/fitness center. When the Obama Regime imposed tanning bed taxes, we raised our tanning bed fees. If our taxes go up, either our protein shakes or dues have to go up to cover the higher cost. You think you are smart, but you are clearly misinformed & you have been brainwashed by the leftist liberals who have become anti-capitalist & anti-free markets. The FOUNDERS never envisioned a personal income tax but they DID envision CORPORATE taxes. Do you always repeat the corporate LIES without thinking? If a corporation engages in activities that the PEOPLE do not want then they are taxed. If they are inefficient then they lose market share. Why do you reward CORPORATE SOCIALISM?

@exenrontexas Companies don't pay taxes. Consumers pay taxes. You don't even understand basic economics. Consumers ultimately pay all corporate costs, one way or the other, usually when they purchase the product or service that companies offer. When class envy liberal Democrats attack companies & want to tax them more, they are really attacking the companies' consumers---the American people. I doubt you can comprehend this basic reality, but just giving it one last try.

@exenrontexas No, the HQ is in Houston, TX, but they have offices all over the world. And yes, what they do is very unique. Schlumberger is their #1 competitor (a French co.).
