i think anyone who has the holy spirit can receive the gift of tongues but interpreting them god decides that :)

hey jaeson, just wondering... what do you feed yourself on? what ministries have contributed greatly in your walk... which websites/authors/etc would you recommend people who are hungry to go to?

The gift of tongues is a constant controversy in the Christian community..in 1 Corinth it states:13For this reason anyone who speaks in a tongue should pray that he may interpret what he says. .so shouldn't people able to discern what they are saying? paul also states he would rather speak 5 intelligible words than tongues...so shouldn't tongues not be encouraged too much at church? hmmm just some thoughts
