I think you give Obama too much credit. I think he is just another Bill Clinton, who wants to put a kinder gentler face on our current very ugly capitalist system. Wealth redistribution punishes responsibility, legacy weath is accheived through responsibility from previous generations to future. Those that can't/won't behave like this always over populate and be needy and greedy.

The redistribution would only be a temporary fix as the responsible and irresponsible will merely reseparate in wealth through their nature and behaviour.

Thing is, whenever someone says 'redistribute the wealth', conservatives get flashes of huey long and they automatically stop listening. there really is no way for obama to do that without drastically changing the way the government works, and he'll have to fight for every inch should he try it. even if he should succeed, control of the government would be very much in the hands of one party, which is never a healthy situation

Well as for unions being paid too much I'll have to disagree on 2 points.

1)They collectively bargained, its not their fault others do not or do not create their own unions.

2)The minimum wage should be $15/hr .. If products prices have went up 400% in 30 years so should have the wages..instead wages went up 20%.

I will totally agree that money being more productive then humans is BS. Money can be lost with zero productivity, I pay a person to do something I get some productivity.
