  • I feel divided. I understand that technology is an extension of nature, but I still feel like this maximum output agriculture philosophy has got it wrong.

  • Loved your video! thanks for sharing :-)

  • Thanks.....basically:)

  • @jse07 the only thing he's trying to sell you on is the idea of growing your own food.

  • are you a hydroponic gardener or are you a barrel salesman?

    i could not tell

  • This is AWESOME. So many ideas, thank you so much for posting this video! Art is amazing!

  • Thanks for this wonderful feature video, John! Art’s garden is so awesome! He’s got a lot of very nice crops growing in his garden. I am very impressed because aside from putting to good use some of his barrels; he is also very resourceful in using milk crates for his hydro garden! That’s really something else. Great job!

  • John; i had one question already earlier regarding hydroponic growing. as this type of growing is soilless, it means alsoonly fertilizer-based, it means "without minerals and enzymes". and there is no diffrence, whether the fertilizer is organic or regualr ssynthetic. How to manage that? As an idea, this vertically growing attracts me... but the idea just use the solution for growing... is not attracting me at all :). What is your opinion - maybe to create separate post about it?

  • I have been using milk crates stacked on movable shelving on my townhouse patio.

Fun to see his plants. Much encouraged.

Thanks John . Love you work.

  • @lrrp25 I think it is artshomestead ? I'm sure if you type that out it will take you to the right spot.

  • how big is his yard? Looks pretty big from the start.
