nope, it's a hack over the MSX version - afaik, it's weird there is no arcade version of Majoh Densetsu - the original prototype seems to be made only for MSX at first, but i think it didn't sell enough in the MSX version to be released on other platforms. It seems to, anyway, get some code borrowed from the arcade Twin Bee - i'd really like to know which were the authors (i think Kojima were not there...) and their viewpoints and 'making of' about this true awesome game

It's a "Knightmare GOLD" patch for the classic MSX version.
You can play this game under Windows XP with a CD-audio soundtracks.
But i play it over a "BlueMSX" emulator(with the originaal sounds).
