As a young child, Brook Peters lived through the 9/11 tragedy in New York City. At age 14, he made a film called THE SECOND DAY to show how he and others found the inner resilience to come out stronger and wiser.

The film inspired people from around the world to share how they make it through life's challenges. And Simple Plan offered their song "What If" to support Brook's Show Your Strength Campaign.

Brook, if you happen to read this which I hope you do I wanted to say a few things. You came to our school today and we all watched the video and then had a q and a. Before this whole thing I was thinking this is going to be just another 911 thing. I was wrong. Your film is amazing and so inspirational. I absolutely loved it.
