@churgn3words There are things that are far more important than being a huge star. Shawn has a very loyal and devoted following, a devoted husband and beautiful daughter. Her music is a little eclectic and is often dark, as autobiograpical music often is, but is wonderfully well crafted and performed that once you hear it, you are an instant fan.

@churgn3words Being a 'huge' star is one of the more destructive curses for *any* artist and the death toll alone should be sobering enough to keep any true artist just under the radar where possibly the weather is safer, saner and more conducive to inner and honest creativity. So many sell out or worse buy into just the money and glitz and pay the price. Forget the corporate music business! It shreds people & their talent for breakfast and then moves on to find the next bankable star.
