@rajd89 Sadly, as you may know, the document now refered to as the 10th Garanth was concopted by Men and not God in 1897 under the Sodhak committee. At that time we lacked science of documentation forensics. Our friends at the Damami Taksal and others promoting this as being the "gospel truth" when all it needs is a high power linguistic laboratory to re-evaluate all teh Sodhak phothis and birs (original compeletions etc). God, if he/she wants to ciommunicate with mankind, does it direct !

If Sikhs value Truth, we must bravely face the fact that our documents may not be authentic. History is a science. We need to carbon date use chemical forensics (organic and inorganic) and also linguistically forensics through computer software to authenticate them. This dispute is not new! Dhir Mal copy of adi granth and Bala Sahkis are a start in 1500s. The Sodhak committee of 1897 had no science tools like Cambridge Shakespeare Labs to declare the hotchpotch of documents (beers) authentic!
