  • Fantastic job! Great instructions and visual, glad I kept looking, I have to agree that your video is much better than the expert village videos were. I'll be heading to the hardware store tomorrow.

  • @getalongsonny Than you very much for the nice comment :-) good luck on your job.

  • Where do you turn off the water supply at before you start? By the way awesome video, its very helpful! :)

  • @txhotdavid if you live down south you should find it outside close to the building wall and some times in the garage behind a panel or in the utility room were the water heater and the furnace is, Good look.

  • @plumberx Yesterday i started to work on my shower handle without turning off the water supply and see if anything happen, I was wrong, I got blasted with hot water lol. Beginners mistakes lol. Then I had to ran outside and try to find the water supply stop valve, it was in the front of my house and was covered in dirt from all the years. So i had to dig all the dirt out and manage to trun of the water supply.

  • @txhotdavid Lol I'm not laughing at you i'm laughing with you we have all been there. Glade you didn't get hurt. Thank you for the comment :-)

  • Great video. Thanks.

  • @plumberx Now my tub is leak free and im so proud of myself for doing it all by myself. Thank you plumberx

  • @plumberx At the point i though "omg what am i doing, i dont know anything about plumbing" i was so scare lol. Oh and it was 37 degrees outside and i was covered in water and was trying to dig dirt out to find the valve. Once I got that done, the rest of it was pretty easy. The only tricky part was trying to put the seat in first before the faucet valve because it was so small it kept on falling out.

  • @txhotdavid Sorry I took so long to get back to you, But you have a two or three handle tub and shower valve. You going to need to cut it off and the main to the house. If you have a basement it should be at the basement wall facing the street it may be behind a panel or in a closet. If no basement look in the room with the water heater and furnace, of outside on the side of the house.
