Gary Lucas and Bruno Galindo- - "Avoid Saying Something Important", a film by Caroline Conejero

A short documentary by Spanish film maker Caroline Conejero about the recent collaboration of Gary Lucas ("The Thinking Man's Guitar Hero"--The New Yorker) and Spanish spoken-word artist/surrealist extraordinaire Bruno Galindo in NYC, encompassing a visit to legendary Bob Fass' "Radio Unnameable" show on WBAI, an outdoor street theatre performance in Greenwich Village, and a performance at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's BAM Cafe. The duo made a spectacular debut at a sold-out show live in Mexico City outdoors under a tent in the midst of a thunder and lightning storm at the Casa del Lago in November 2008 as part of the "Poesia en Voz Alta 08" Festival, and have continued their collaboration since, with an album in the works.
