Are you living under a rock? US is in trouble with human rights group all the time, both with healthcare, torture, gitmo ect.

The list of violations from the US is long, however, being the worlds only super power have its perks. The war on Iraq made bush/blair war criminals, nothing happend. The settlements in gaza are illegal, yet nothing happens.

Just because you havent heard about it doesnt mean it didnt happen.

@CWSmith03111982 I dunno man... the government protects us or tries through the progressive policies. The conservative policies actually regulate your lives as oppose to systems/markets.  If your gay too bad so sad. If your sick good luck. If your disabled your on your own. We gotta take down those bad violent cartoons... What happened to their own policies they preach about no regulations? They use the wrong type of regulations...

@TheSaltyAdmiral By definition Human Rights are fundamental rights and freedoms entitled to regardless of nationality, sex, ethnicity or any other status...However Healthcare does not transcent National barriers, it must be paid for by the citizenry of the country in question, in other words its a privlege.

Human rights are more sacred than Healthcare, you would not group the right to Life, Liberty and Healthcare together.
