I remember before this song came out, I had always wished for the day I'd be fifteen. I couldn't wait to grow up. Now, I'm going into high school next year, and I have to do all these things to get ready, and every time I do, I think of this song. I'm so afraid. Next year, I'm only going to be 14 though. I've saved myself for this song, never had a boyfriend. That's for when I'm 15. Or when I feel the time is right. God, give me the strength to carry on to be as wonderful as Taylor.

I love this song because my boyfriend said that to me when i walked into middle school,we dated for three years then i was 15 and he dumped me for another girl,i wish i couldn't relate.I shouldn't have even believed anything he said,i fell for those stupid love songs and i regret that, it would have saved me alot of heartbreak no matter what i will always love & miss him even though he put me through hell. But my bestie Emma was there no matter what and i love her for that&cant thank her enough!!

It's kind of funny how, no matter how many warnings we receive about high school from people who have been there, no matter how much the media presents it as a time of naive and lost youth, us teenage girls still fall for the same old tricks. The truth is going through high school is a lesson that can't be taught through anything but experience.
