I highly doubt that the lakers have dealt with or handled adversity at all these past seasons.
Either teams get hot at the right time with both their chemistry or playing ability, or like in some case, pure luck and coincidence is involved.

Why would Dwight Howard ever need to throw a pass like this? He's a Center for goodness' sake. Dwight rebounds and blocks a heck of a lot better than Amare, and guess what, that's what being a big man is all about. I can't help but chuckle when I mention the fact that Dwight averaged about .6 less assists than Amare last season. Lol.
