Easily the best song since the 80s. Then again, I was born in 1995...

Is this the same tune as "Jenny 867-5309" or am I just wasted?

Great fuckin song

i may only be 15, but i personally LOVE Bruce Springsteen. and while i do listen to some newer music, i like to stick to older music. Bruce makes real music, and its easy to understand what hes talking about. and even though you can hear the age in his voice this song is great. i don't think i've been disappointed by any of his songs that ive ever heard..

You can really hear the age in his voice. Espically in this song

Thumbs up if Peter Clines brought you here!
I had forgotten this one until reading Ex-Patriots.
Rock on, Boss!

@gafinilan Thank you for posting the vid. Nice and simple with not all the junk. easy to learn how to sing it from here, unlike some who post these, the lyrics come up in time for me to sing with it. if you don't know them, the last thing you need is the words to pop up right when the singing starts, then it can be too late, the lyric line is already starting

@FaithfulDarknezz haha godt sagt :) jeg digger denne sangen.

Never been a big fan of Bruce, but I love this song. See, I too have noticed that the music now sucks compared to the real music we all know and love. Music is dying. Being killed by rappers and people like Lady GaGa. These people dont realize what theyre doing, or maybe theyre just too selfish to care. I tried to write a song like this, making the same point. Looks like Bruce beat me to it. Said it better than I wouldve. Great song.

I hear Bruce since i was seven years old ... and his music never, but never let me down. This music, makes you wanna get lost in this world, and enjoy the much as you can, but still in that road the loneliness comes around and near you ...
