  • @AKwakIsAwsome

Thanx for your comment. Everyone in the industry is working very hard on environmental and bycatch issues.

  • Saw a comment that mentioned bycatch, do you see any bycatch, NO ! straight scallops and how is dredging tearing up straight sand on the ocean floor ? Yes this will eventually be banned along with every other commercial fishing practice, not by overfishing but by special interest groups and possibly data that is solely backed by estimations and predictions, not by facts. !!! Great vid , yummy ! Just had a belly full for dinner , great job guys, keep em coming to my dinner table !

  • @strikenetter Thanx for the comment.Fishing has been great!! Kill all the scallops they will let me.

  • @toledano123 If you don"t know what you are talking about,SHUT THE FUCK UP!!

  • nobody realizes that the majority of the bycatch is unharmed and goes back in the ocean and if any of you actually went scallop fishing you would understand this but instead you just go around trying to impose your ignorant opinions on peoples videos if your so worried about the environment actually go do something about it instead of annoying people trying to make a living

  • i fish in canada around southern NB nice tow and keep good work god loves you

  • @MATADJ1 you don't know shit... you probably like a thousand miles from the ocean or you live right by it and are to lazy to do the hard work it takes to feed your ass!!!

  • ya right/ keep killing the sea for money you scumb bag

  • Send all those to my freezer please.

  • @toledano123

I think you mix between traweling and towing. Indeed there is no ecological fishing.

Remeber that American Fisherman nourish USA with seafoods since more than 400 years.

Towing damage unfortunately: it is just used on sandy places; where there is no harm for fishes and flora/

  • @ConvairDart106 The ocean may cover more of the earth but most of it is barren. Dragging is an environmentally devastating practice and is indiscriminate . The earth cant naturally produce enough to feed the worlds vast consumption without farming. Don't kid yourself. You are right about the land ecosystem destruction, we've paved North America and cut down all the trees in 100 years. thanx 4 the scallops...

  • I want to to this as a living!!! It is my dream--I love the ocean, seafood and adventure. Someone please giv me info

  • @fly4play not everyone, but those non-ignorant, intelligent people with foresight and a vested interest in the industry. (c:

  • @toledano123 so you don't make any further ignorant and uneducated remarks

  • @toledano123 you clearly have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. The industry is managed very well, and scallops are harvested in a very sustainable way. Also, scallop dredging a bottom that is subject to high levels of natural disturbance and that has been historically fished has been shown in fact proven to increase productivity. I would have no problem referring you to the associated research publications if you actually want some knowledge about this,
