One of the five fourteen story Maisonette Towers, by Peter Dickinson is almost demolished.
Appropriating ideas from Le Corbusier's Unite d'habitation in Marseilles, Dickinson , then with Page and Steele Architects won the Massey Silver Medal in 1958 for these towers. His design fulfilled the Corbusian ideal of modernist towers in a park like setting.
