NOTE: WHY DO I USE THE WORD "CRUSADE"?

In the two years since I posted this series I have received messages from many Christians stating that they are offended by the word "crusade" (a derivation of "cross") being associated with Islamic violence. I chose to use that word because The Crusades are something that most in the post-modern, politically correct West recognize as "evil." Many westerners are still not acquainted with the real meaning of words like "jihad," "shariah," "dhimmis", etc. Hopefully in 2010 more people DO understand the true meaning of those words.

In short, I chose the word "crusades" to highlight that Christians were not the only ones who fought religious wars of conquest. My intention was not to insult Christianity. Christianity is a religion of peace that is sometimes used by extremists to justify violence. Islam is a religion of war. I pray for the day when these videos are no longer needed. Until that day I will keep the name "Islamic Crusades."

I created the Islamic Crusades series to provide a counterpoint to the Christian Crusades. My goal was to remind a self-loathing West that our alleged sins are not to blame for the Islamic aggression we see today. Thus far I have covered episodes in the Middle Ages that took place parallel to the Crusades, in which Muslims embarked upon Jihad and committed atrocities against Christians, Jews, and Zoroastrians. A second means to the same conclusion is to expose situations in which Muslims are in conflict with non-Western peoples. These conflicts have nothing to do with the baggage of Christianity, the Crusades, European colonialism or any other canard that apologists cite to excuse Muslim violence against the West, yet they unfold in much the same way.

  • "Thaksin" is pronounced like "toxin." There is no "th" sound in Thai, and short "a" is spelled as "ae" in Romanized Thai. The rebellion is actually a separatist movement, but religion and jihadist organizations do play a large role. No matter what the motivation is, the perpetrators must be found and punished. I have seen multiple photos of their handywork, and I must say that these barbarians don't deserve any mercy.

  • @roxyosox122 Thanks for info regarding the pronunciation.

  • Absolutely, this is a Global Problem..Islam is Same Devil and Different Footprints in each and every country to Achieve same Goal...Sleepers need to awake!

  • Prime Minister Thaksin misused emergency powers enacted in 2004. Where Muslim protesters were holed and shot at the Krue Se Mosque. And where 84 Muslim demonstrators at Tak Bai were shot just months before the "peace" bombing. (source:Asian Human Rights Commission and New York Times). So he's at least partially to blame for the escalation of violence from 2004 onwards. Not to mention he shrugs on the proposed NRC report. (Source: The Nation).

  • @ibras80 People who died at Krue Se are by no means innocents. They are millitants who are armed. running away, hiding, and using the Krue Se mosque was part of their strategy.

Guys like you in the south support those millitants who call their fellow muslims siamese dogs and killed them just because they dont want to kill their friends or fellow humen and live a peaceful life. This is sad. very, very, sad.

You should be there as I was once.

  • @pathfinder609 are you serious? if i give u evidence, for sure i can't give any comment to youtube anymore. for sure the military police will find me and throw me to jail, and the worst case scenario, they will shot me at the head like what they do to the victim of Krue Se and Tak Bai. of course the budhhist killed the muslim, its obvious, thats the reason why the southern want independence. come here and u will know, dont just talk bullshit on youtube, keyborad warriors.

  • @ibras80

are you serious? do you have videos or any evidence that Buddhists killing muslims mate?

you say that the buddhists have arms, so that they can kill muslims. but do they actually kill muslims? you say that buddhists bully muslims. is that a reason to kill innocent civilians?

  • @pathfinder609 I think there is going to be a mixture of Hindu, Christain and Buddhist religions though it is already happening in the background on people's level, for example, I know and interact with so many people who are practising all three together in their lives on a spiritual level.

  • @ambardarlane

I agree with you. some ppl say that Islam is a peaceful religion. But why there is a link with Islam and brutal killings? I haven't heard of christian or buddhist terrorist groups. always islam terrorist groups :)

  • Muslims are just thieves who want to stole our land. And they just want to solve the problem by killing which is no use. We have guns to defend ourselves

  • stupid sick video.Read history first before u make this video. The reality is Islam come to Southern Thailand by peace and native people or malay at southern thailand convert Islam on their will.it is the Thai people who called Siam at that time invade the muslim teritory and make their own. Until today, they bully muslim. if u go to Pattani u can see Thailand government provide the Budhist with weapon so they can kill the muslim.so if u know nothing better u keep ur mouth shut, stupid outsiders
