@meckpommer that's weird. I used the MG995 on my hexapod too and never had a problem. one of them had to be replaced after the hexapod itself pulled the power supply voltage knob and got it up to 13V, but that's all.

Hey, can you tell me did you supply the MG995 directly with from a 7.4V li-po? Also, great robot!

Great job!!! Great work! Can you tell me the useful angle of MG995???

Hmm that would be difficult because I,am already working on it right now.
But i understand you hookt them directly on the battery so you didn't convert it to 6V?

that's right. perhaps they live a little longer if you use 6V - perhaps ;-) i am now working on a new hexapod with 38 Servos, and i am wont use these MG-995 again. not at 4,8 - 6 oder 7,4V :)

Hi
I'am working on a hexapod with 18 mg995's too.
But how did you supply them all?
And what kind of battery are you using?
thanks

The MG995 are specified to work with a 2S LiPo with 7,4V.
If you can, don't use the MG955! During the last 12 months, i had to replace 40% of them :-(
