I don't think so. Lumber, Coal, Autos, hazardous materials, etc. won't be shipped in intermodal containers. Now boxcars, they will probably fade out as time goes on.

In the future, that is all trains will be is nothing but intermodals. Regular train cars will be done away with except in railroad museums.

Nice shot. Last time I was at the tobin bridge I was on the other side from where this was fillemed and I was shooting an eastbound UP Stack train. Thing got dog caught right infront of me. Interesting site to see.

great video what is the k5lla horn i heard of the k5la but not the k5LLa thanks and do the new sd90mac have that horn because thats the units they usally put on the coal unites heading through kirkwood if i am thinking right lol thanks again
