Elisa returns with a new single "Love Is Requited", a dreamy, acoustic-guitar-kissed meditation on renewing one's faith in love.
Featuring music by famed Italian composer Andrea Guerra and lyrics by Michele Von Büren, this is the first track from the forthcoming album "Steppin' On Water" arriving in the US and Canada on February 21, 2012 on Sugar/Decca Records.
"Love Is Requited" is also the theme song to the movie "Someday This Pain Will Be Useful To You" (starring Oscar winners Marcia Gay Harden and Ellen Burstyn, with Lucy Liu, Peter Gallagher, Deborah Ann Woll, and Toby Rigbo as James Sveck) that was helmed by Italian director Roberto Faenza and based on Peter Cameron's bestselling novel.
Director Loris Lai and Oscar-winning costume designer Milena Canonero, who co-produced the movie, shot in New York City a music video that shows Elisa watching over the movie's young leading character like a guardian angel.
