How's the engine standing up to the ...erm.. enthusiatic riding? Thanking of getting a Versys for everyday use.

So far, so good :) cassette gearbox makes for easy fix if need be? but seem pretty bulletproof. Worth checking exhaust clearances as can be tight from new. OE tyres are crap, Otherwise, get one, they're a laugh.

What group was bruv in?, any vid?

bloody brilliant, I have a 2007 V and thought I got a lot out of my bike (until now), how close did you come to the guy in blue at 6:14 (sorry if you've already answered this) and did he do the wrong thing or were you being too cheeky?

6:14? err? prob being cheeky! but remember rear came up under braking/front locked up slightly?? - a surprise on V brakes! but looks closer on vid that it was.

I've always said there needs to be an "S" or "R" model of this bike. Ninja compression and computer. I'd buy that b/c of the upright riding position. They can keep the BMW GS Transformers look though...

Don't you think it's more satisfying getting more out of a lower-powered bike than just touching the performance of a modern sports bike? If those blokes on the sports bike were any good they should have left you standing. It's true what they say; it's not what you ride, it's how you ride!!

As a result of watching this vid i part ext my ER6 for one Tues.10/1/12. You have great bike skills mate, some of those bikes you were racing against were much faster but you whooped their arses on the bends. Respect!!!

Can you please tell me what front and back suspension settings you used. I am 90 Kgs.
