View The Yoko Devereaux show at Pier 92 which kicked off men's fashion week on January 21st.
Yoko Devereaux debuted their Fall/Winter 2008 collection titled 'Holding Up the Heiress,' inspired by the darker side of America's fascination with high society and celebrity. The menswear label continues to reinterpret traditional men's tailoring through the use of fleece and jersey and offers wide variety of selection with a full woven program, outerwear program and bottoms program. Also new to this season, Yoko Devereaux works with traditional fabrics such as tweeds, wools, and wovens as worn by a more downtown crowd.
All graphics in this collection incorporate direct imagery from the works of artist Charles Lutz. Lutz's newest and most ambitious series to date consists of 20 paintings on round canvases which critique as well as herald the Contemporary Art market and its inter-workings.
