How did you manage to take the drums out from the original track?

In answer to your question I didnt remove the original drum track. I simply put my drums from my kit higher in the mix and blended them together in audacity.

Would you mind telling me wich kit you use. And if you did a custom kit, wich settings.

Thanks for the kind words. In responce to your query The kit im using is a td9 kx and a td6. Both modules are hooked up through a mixer. The kit on the td9kx is the very first kit. Im using a 18inch china as my right crash and the rock snare which has quite an ambient sound. these are the only custom settings.
